My 26TT rear end is stamped P1001 Hall Scott. All I can find is that Ruckstell worked for Hall Scott so is this a Ruckstell rear end?

Most likely. I won't go into the whole history, however, Hall-Scott and Ruckstell were connected, and early Ruckstell axles all say Hall Scott somewhere on them.
Does the other (right side) axle housing have a "bead" around the center casting end where the steel tube is slid inside and riveted?

Hal is on the right track. If the bead he asks about is present, then it would be reasonable to think the whole rear end assembly is early TT in spite of the fact that it's a '26 truck. It's also possible that the bead is not present indicating a later Ford (right side) rear end but the Ruckstell (Hall-Scott) side is an early one added at some point later on.
These trucks are 92-101 years old. The possible changes made over the years are unlimited.
