There is a Mainely T Tour currently in progress.
Perhaps he is away from his business to enjoy that? Try again later this week - or early next.

I bought a car off Dave several years ago. Making contact was difficult, when we did finally talk, he explained he'd been running his log-splitter almost non-stop and couldn't hear the phone

I got in touch with him on Facebook. Took a while but it was quicker than calling which was fruitless.

I got a Racer body from Dave, it is a work of art. Very good craftsmanship.

I bought a racer kit from Currier over a year ago. The purchase process was a trial....trying to get any information or answers to questions was difficult as Mr. Currier seems to have an aversion to any sort of communication. The kit finally arrived and brought on even more questions as there are NO instructions or assembly advisories. You have to figure it out for yourself.
I lurched ahead with the assembly....true, there are things that are self evident, but there are a lot more that are not! As I stumbled along....figuring a few things out for myself, I discovered Hank in Tin-A-See and all became clear. Truely a revelation!
There will be a thread of the speedster's birth with numerous photos will be forthcoming in the very near future. In the meantime, if you have any questions regarding my particular Currier Racer build....by all means, please contact me. I will do my very best to answer any questions.
Cheers

I didn't heard back from Richard unfortunately. He's probably too busy. I like the quick answer and great service I received from people like :Lang's folks, Stan Howe, Mike Kossor, RV Anderson, Noah Stutzman, Dan McEachern, Ron Patterson,Joe Bell,Layden Butler, Gene French, Hank, Richard Baugghman and many others gentlemen, etc. So many good folks I forget to mention at MTFCA. I will probably build by my own the body finally.

Re: Richard A Currier's Horseless Carriage Co. any one have feed back?
I am very pleased with my Racer from Richard Currier Bodies. Dave provided me with a great product. Nothing with a Model T is for the faint of heart. This is a Johnny Cash car and everything had to be modified for the build. The engine is a late casting, no serial number, coupled to a 24 transmission on an earlier frame. It has a Waukesha Ricardo head and a Ruckstell rear end. It is equipped with a generator and a starter and uses a 1915 coil box with a Yale key switch. I made slight modifications to the body for the battery. I imagine David is busy since his bodies are advertised in Lang’s and I will tell you they are worth it. If you want to do these kind of builds plan ahead. There are very few people today that can produce this quality of work.
