I found some newly paved road in Michigan

Somewhere west of Lansing I found about a mile of paved road. Probably the only stretch they paved this year. Also, if you leave Detroit on Hwy 153, it becomes Hwy 14 and you cannot get off. Had to drive about 8 miles at 30mph and everyone else was going 80. Then I had to get off on an exit on the left side. That is how todays story starts.

Dave,
Can only imagine rest of story! When we were out there last year with the club touring the Henry Ford I did a lot of side trips on our own in a modern car and even that was scary driving certain roads. Hope it all works out.
Still need some pictures!

Kevin

Ok - I know Michigan gets a bad rap for some crummy roads but I have to tell you, they are mostly found around urban areas whereas the roads in rural areas like where I live are actually pretty good. Bad roads are not unique to Michigan.

Right you are Tim. Has anyone been to Indiana?
