Hello fellow Model T-ers,

My father and I have had an original grade top fabricated by Mike at Cassique Upholstery in Minnesota.
Now we need help installing it on our 1915 Touring.

Would any of you know where we might be able to get this done in California to a high standard? Maybe an installer who has done a lot of Model Ts over the years. I would appreciate any guidance you may be able to offer.

Joe Anino is a good choice. Not only is he a friend, but a Model T owner too. His shop is in Rancho Cordova, so that would be an easy days drive. I've been there many times.

I just wish there was a Joe Anino in Southern California.

There is a really good guy in Santee (northeast of San Diego) that did my 1914 T and a friends '26 T, but I'm at that age where I can't remember his name and can't find the paperwork! He was referred by Ray Wells in El Cajon so, if Santee's a convenient location, you won't find anyone better.
Call Ray at his shop (Vintage Ford) for the name and number.

Yes Ernie Romero is the guy who I was thinking about. He does the work for Ray Wells customers who want upholstery on their new bodies. I had a seat recovered by him and it was excellent. He also did the complete top and upholstery on the 09 body I purchased from Dan Haynes, (thank you Dan). First class work.
