I am sure I read a post that someone had talked to or knew a person who bought an Ames from someone in MI who's father had owned the car. This bought about all the ames discussions that are still avaiable. A picture or two of Gary's ames was also posted. If anyone has information about the car, Gary's son has much history regarding the car and would like to contact the new owner if this is indeed Gary's car. I am currenty touring CO and NM with his son who is driving one of Gary's other cars. Don't know why I can't find the post I refer to, but I went back as far as June 30th as well as reading all the posts that come up when searching "Ames". AFAIK, Gary's Ames touring is in the possession of one of his sons. Dan

There is some thought that he may have sold it.
