Looked at a 25 roadster for sale

Post by Jim Sims » Wed Sep 25, 2019 4:10 pm

Got a call about a local 25 for sale. Had to see it of course. About quarter inch of bondo over most of the car. Home made canvas tom nailed to a wooden frame work. 26 or 27 engine. Worst part was the cobbled up wood nailed in place for body wood. Does not run but it does have a title. Priced fair at $ 5000.oo . No I did not add 3 extra 000.

The windshield and top do not look correct in the pictures. That windshield should slant. The top should not be straight up behind the door, but slant to fit the bow. If the car will run and runs good might have some value, but if it doesn't run and has so much bondo, it is not worth 5,000. You can get a better one for that price.
