Hello grumpy old people that think money is more important than life.
Now what would be really controversial? An E-timer!

So I made my own. Just to make people mad.

It's an arduino. That they use to teach programming to children.

And a few hall effect sensors, and MOSFETs.

It runs, it drives.

For coils I used old decaying ones that had open secondaries and no points at all. Nobody else thought they'd amount to anything. Work really well after all.

Very crude looking time on the outside, but ingenious!! Let us know how it holds up. - Matt

Excellent! Just curious - why MOSFETs instead of triacs?

Mindless, make sure you run plenty of grease inside that timer like originals. Watch out for infringing on the "Big Company's" patent rights or the lawyers will have fun. Did you disable your magneto? Looks pretty Cool!! Smarter than the ave. T!!

Interesting stuff.

I had a look at your YouTube channel. Is that a Sachs rotary engine on your bicycle? I picked up one of those a few years back but haven’t worked out what to do with it.
