Are the rear spring the same between Ts?
Will a small drum mount up to a set of springs that came off of '26/'27?
I am thinking that there is not any difference, but I have been wrong before.

Go to this mans website and you will see that there are a few different spring sets for a model T.

There is a difference in the arch of the springs, 09-25 (small drum) vs 26-27 (large drum), and the spread length 46-3/8" vs 43-1/4" respectively. Also the rear cross member on the frame needs to match. Haven't tried it so can't answer the question - will it fit

The two rear ends that I have are '26/'27 and they are currently out of commission.
I am trying to gather part to rebuild.
A club member has let me borrow a small drum Ruckstell.
Besides not having a hand brake. What other issues am I looking at?

The 1928 parts book listed the rear spring as the same 1909 to 1927;

The arc of the rear cross member was changed for 1926-27, it was taller to drop the body down. I mounted a big drum rear under my 21 without changing the spring with no issues. The only difference might be the number of leafs between body styles.
