Do you have a photo in the gallery?

Post by Steve Jelf » Mon Oct 21, 2019 1:31 pm

There are some wonderful pictures folks have posted of their cars, but there should be more. There's only one 1910, and for a lot of years there are fewer than ten pictures. If you haven't yet posted a photo of your Model T, why not make that a project?

Bruce McCalley posted a picture of my ‘26 Coupe on the old forum when he was an administrator on the forum before the big change, but my picture is no longer there. Did the change wipe out all the pre-change photos. If so, it’s a shame because there were certainly photos of Model T’s that belonged to many legendary members that are no longer with us, so their legacy and achievements that were documented on the forum for all of us to enjoy, are gone with the old Forum and that is a tragedy. Used to be nice in the old forum format to have a decent size image of our cars in the personal information section. On the other hand it’s so much easier to post pictures in our posts now.

Is there anyway to salvage the old photo gallery and transfer the photos that were on there, along with the owner’s usernames, to the new gallery? That would increase the library of photos of beautiful, classic, well restored (in some cases, famous) Model T’s belonging to legendary members who have passed. These old members, who were amazingly passionate about their Model T’s, researched countless resources to get their T’s just right and it would be a good resource for new members to admire, get ideas, regarding color schemes and to refer to, to see how it should be done. It will also ensure that their achievements live on in the new gallery. Jim Patrick

I had to check. Yup. Posted a picture. I should look through the "family album" more often.
