My Hershey haul

Post by sweet23 » Sun Oct 13, 2019 4:57 pm

Back from Hershey. Found some nice pieces. Bought a super nice turtle deck from Don Lang. This will replace my beat up one on my '25. A few NOS parts including '26-'27 rear radius rods. New band lining from my Hershey neighbor. TT wheel puller, $8.00, couldn't pass that up, and a $10.00 radiator shell. Great week with good weather each day.

I see you found the really good Kevlars, it is hard to find the good ones, they are not all the same!

The man I bought the Peerless shell from said he bought the shell with a radiator at Hershey in 1974. He put the radiator in his T, as he filled it with water, it ran out faster than he could put it in. He tossed the radiator in the scrap, and hung the shell on the wall. For ten bucks, it was worth the price of the story.
