So did the cars come with one or two tire tools?

Warning: the Ford irons are for display only. To change a tire in the real world I carry three two-footers from HF.

I have seen and purchased every other type of T & Tractor Ford tool but never have I seen a tire iron. Wouldn't know it if it hit me.

I keep my tires wrinkle free with these two old tire irons! :D :D They are easy to press while still on the rims.

The tapered irons were supplied by the tyre companies. I have Goodyear ones in my 1912.

I do not know when they were discontinued. Ford factory ones looked like this.

This one is Canadian. Many were not branded like this. They are about 10" long and as Steve suggests, largely useless.

Thanks for that pic Allen. I didn't realize they were that "formed". Thought they were just flatbar w/ rounded ends.

I believe these are Ford tire irons. Am I mistaken?

What I would do is look at the pictures in a 1915 Ford parts book. Consider this. The parts books are usually a year behind on tools, so that may be of some help to you. When at the car show at Hershey last Saturday, I noticed Pete Ratledge had his tools laying in front of his car, including some pretty hard to find items. I hope none of those tools disappeared.
