Is there any real value in the aftermarket oil pan supports that hook on both sides of the frame and go under the oil pan? They didn't come factory just looking for opinions. Thanks in advance

I believe they are a good idea. I have used the originals on every car I have owned. They do not modify the car in any way, so I see no harm in using them and possibly some gain. The repros sold thru the vendors are a good copy of the originals. Just my 2 cents worth ....
have fun and be safe .......

My wife says I’m very opinionated and feel everyone is entitled to my opinion. And you asked for it.....I, too, have these ‘belly pans’ on all my Model T s. Rivets and braze supporting a 600 lb motor after 90-100 years driving on poor roads scares me.

One of my stock pan arms has an old weld repair, so I installed one of the aftermarket supports for extra insurance.
