Re: Where is Rob??
I hope he is out busy with work and enjoying life! He has had a couple wonderful and long threads on his search for history this year, but not as many as in several recent years. I gather he has had a couple problems with the Ford Special racer, and know he was working on that still a couple months ago. So that is one thing he has been busy with. I know from other people's reports and photos that he did attend the usual NL to NB run and OCF.
I may miss his research and tour reports, but as long as he is enjoying life, that is what matters. I do hope things are in better order for him now than they were a couple years ago. Like many of the regulars on this forum, I like to think of him as a personal friend even though we have never met in person. I know that bad year a couple years back was really tough for him, and wouldn't want any friend to go though something like that, let alone again.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2

Re: Where is Rob??
Oops, my bad, I thought Rob said earlier that he was going to bring his N, so I assumed the one I saw was his.

Re: Where is Rob??
Hi guys. It’s been a busy fall, and I haven’t taken time out for the forum or car work lately. Currently, the racer has scored cylinder walls, so the motor has to come apart. The K magneto is out of sorts, and the F needs a few issues addressed. The N has broken front spring leaves and the 09 hasn’t been started in some time. Meanwhile, I “stole” a tire off the 13 for the Model F, so there we have it.
I hope to visit THF and Benson library this late fall or early winter to research for three articles planned with the Model T Times next spring and summer.
Hope all is well with each of you. My next “event” will probably be the last Chickasha swap meet. Hope to see many of you then,
Rob
