What is the most common size used on a model T?

.032 and .051. I use the smaller wire for smaller applications and the larger wire for wishbone ball joint, flywheel bolts, differential bolts, and other larger bolts.
Aircraft safety wire pliers will make a professional twist for a nice clean job.
Many older posts regarding the best way to do safety wire.

I ran out awhile back, and I had to go to three different auto parts stores to find it!

I also procure my S.S. wire through the local aircraft parts store - iron "bailing wire" I p/u at Wilco Farm Store or Tractor Supply.

Harbor Freight has Stainless Steel safety wire very reasonable, not sure about the sizes though. Dave

if you want plain old tie wire you can get it at most concrete places it is used to tie rebar.
