MAGNETO POST WITH OUTSIDE OIL LINE CONNECTION

Post by John Dow » Tue Oct 29, 2019 6:14 pm

Can anyone tell me where I can find a 3 screw magneto post with the external oil line connection? Mine works intermittently and before I try to fix it, I'd just like to just buy a replacement. Thank you.

Thanks Bill. I call them tomorrow but it looks like they carry the post without the oil line connection like all the other suppliers I've checked.

Whether or not if you use an outside oiler it’s a good idea to use the oil filter screen that fits under the transmission cover door.
Lang’s, Snyder’s, Smith and Jones all carry the mag post oiler. I have the mag post oiler on my T’s along with the transmission oil filter and they work fine.

John

the only extra thing you'll get with a kit, is the copper line and the fitting on the front of the engine. When it breaks and you're a long way from home, you may wish you had a spare.
