Because of the natural spokes ,shape of the pavers and Ford script on radiator I think this is fairly recent picture. I still think it is a beautiful coupe.

The more i look at it you are probably right, i didn't notice the modern garage door which pretty much gives it away.

The pavers are a dead giveaway as post-1980.

Add the mirrors and I've got it's twin, what are the chances that you can get 2 T's that are the same!

Hi Folks,
This is my first time to attempt a post. If I can figure out how to attach an old picture (scanned the small photo but haven't figured out how to edit/enlarge) of my grandfather's family standing by and in his car, I would appreciate if you can identify the car. The photo includes my grandfather, grandmother, my uncle, aunt, and mother, who is in my grandfather's arms. If I assume she is about one year old, the picture was taken in 1923. Thanks for help identifying the car. -Bill

I think it is a Dodge center-door sedan! Ford model T offered center-door sedans from '15 model year into 1923. Some other automobile companies offered center-door sedans somewhat earlier. I have seen pictures as early as 1910, a few mentions maybe even earlier. The center-door sedan body style had become archaic by the end of the '10s, however quite a few well known marques offered them into the late '10s. I am not a Dodge expert, however I think that one would be about 1917/'18. Dodge also offered the wire wheel option from the factory.
That would be a wonderful car to have today! Not a lot of that style were built. And very few non-T center-door cars survive. I believe a couple Dodges do survive, have heard of a '17 Studebaker, a couple Hudsons, and even a surviving Maxwell, among a few others.

Wayne,
Thanks a lot for your conclusion and it's different from what I was expecting. I will try to read a little more about those car makes. I do have an interesting story my uncle told me that likely involved this car, based on your conclusion it is a center door and the probable age of my uncle at the time (he just passed away last year at the age of 100). However since it turns out to not be a Model T I guess I shouldn't take up the FMTCA forum. Thanks again,
Bill

Bill, I for one enjoy seeing these kinds of thing as they give some perspective of the world around the Model T.
Thanks for sharing with us.
