Will be posting soon since bad weather is coming. Some have sent me private emails concerning problems so I am writing a thread that should cover everything. Complete with pictures, etc.

Fantastic! When I posted to the question about the brace to support the cast iron Warford I included a link to Ford barn of someone having the issue with loosing the connection between the cast iron Warford without coupling and engine when things got rounded out. Besides shimming to fill the gap, I know some build up the input shaft and machine to size. This applies to only the cast iron 3 speed used without the coupling, the others were mounted directly to back of engine but still can use a brace.

This discussion has been extremely informative so far, and I have every expectation of learning much more from the upcoming write-up you are working on Hank. Thank you Hank (and all others on this thread as well) for sharing such helpful and beneficial information. I can't help thinking that the discussion that has taken place thus far is certainly a "textbook example" of why this forum and the Model T "community" as a whole is such a wonderful thing!
