Found this on PreWarCar, anyone ever heard of the Moxon Tractor ?
Was it a conversion in kit form, or was it built as is, and where ?

Re: Anyone knows the Moxon Tractor ?
Leo - Obviously, a search on the internet produced nothing in addition to the Bonhams information that you posted. Certainly interesting, and appears to be a pretty well built tractor. Only thing I could offer is that altho' it is hard to tell from the picture, but in addition to the Bonhams description that you posted that mentions the the tractor uses Model T engine & transmission, it appears that the rear end is probably a worm-drive TT rear end. (???) If so, perhaps a TT frame as well,....??? Hope somebody knows more about it because that tractor is very interesting for sure,....thanks for posting,....harold

Re: Anyone knows the Moxon Tractor ?
Here is a wild guess...
Moxon may be just the name associated with the tractor due to a one time possible owner like Moxon Textiles. Perhaps they used the tractor to maintain the grounds and it just became known as the "Moxon Tractor" One article states it was used to pull gang mowers.

Moxons Motor Engineers were in High Road, Whetstone, London.
H. Pattison & Co built similar Model T & Model A based tractors. You can find a few photos of their tractors on the internet if you search for Pattison Beta and Pattison Super Beta.
