Stronghold accessory brake mounting question

Hi All

I picked up a set of small drum Stronghold brakes a while ago and I'm going through them with the plan of installing them on my roadster.

They are marked LH and RH and when installed on the housing the installation looks different than most as the casting goes over the top of the spring mount instead of under the bottom of the backing plate.

Here are pictures of what the mounting bracket looks like on housing. Does anyone else have the same accessory brake on their car and is it mounted the same way.

They seem to resemble small drum AC (which I have two sets of). Looks right to me

First off: that's neat!
Second: Do you have different diameter brake bands on those things (larger ones for larger drum and mounted on rearward stud)

Finally: YOWSER! Those radius rods are slated for replacement, right?

Hi Scott

No, just the small bands for the small drums. Not as obvious an addition as a large drum brake.

And yes, the radius rods are scrap. Actually only the last 8 inches are there and are being used for spacers while mocking up the parts.
