Can anyone tell me where this cutaway image came from, or who created it please?

Whatever the source of the drawing or computerized image it’s not accurate. It has a mixture of parts from 24 -27. Look the the pedals, large brake drums, fenders, round gas tank and etc. Its a ‘generalized’ image.

They appear here. I'm not sure if it mentions who did the illustration.
When did I do that?

I don't know if this was the first appearance of this cutaway but it appeared in Volume 6 Issue 67 of a UK magazine called "The Car" in the eighties.

The deal was that you bought an issue each week and ended up with a complete set of books. I think the publisher would buy the rights to an existing book and then published it this way to make it more affordable in the short term.

Older post with similar image, cutaway T, claimed as 25 model. Used to have poster size version, sold by vendors long ago, don’t remember the artist name, might have been Asian. Just a representation, missing correctness.
