The ups and downs of driving a Ford.

OR Just taking the psychOdelic 18 Runabout UP to a friend’s place for winter.
OR Toodles without Maw.
I’m in between two lakes on a small hill in the woods. I have cattailed, swamp-front property at the bottom of my hill. I like it in here but it’s nice to get out and on a hill once in awhile.
1 You’ve seen these views before. Probably in summer.
2 This sure is pretty in the more leafy times.
3 Heading out west.
4 North To Alaska!
5 The little lake.
More to come and let’s see if I can manage this. OOH! Not bad!
NOT tonight.

8 The little lake getting away from us.
9 Stop to see where we’ve been. Looking back at lake level.
10 The road ahead. See the sharp point nearly straight ahead? Destination.
011 Upper water levels. My eyes saw two ORANGE figures out there hunting/waiting.
The camera wouldn’t.
012 At the top! The hazy hills are the far side of the big lake. I’ve come so far!

Thanks for the ride Duey! Looks like the country out my window but missing the Amish.

I'm envious.

My view this morning (and every workday) is of angry or frustrated people jostling for position, going way too fast in Houston traffic.

My view after that is of one of two things...either an office desk or the fractional distillation columns of an oil refinery.

When the point comes that I can be done with this (less than 10 years), I will leave it for country in northeast Texas that looks a lot like your photos, and most likely never return.

We finally got our snow Mark. :) Warnings abound til noon tomorrow.. A let-down here. 4-5 inches so far of 14 predicted.
Eastern MN may get it deep.
Don't be envious. OK, ya can be! We move along until the snow locks us down some!
A melt-down sure may come before January...
Not far to go to get all the way UP on the hills here.
Thank you gentlemen!
Little bugger: I have a running/intermittant miss on a cylinder if not under load that needs addressing...
Thank you. :)
