TT Differential w/Ruckstell - Are There Felt Seals?

My Dad and me are restoring a 1923 TT dump truck. The flange for the spring perch on the Ruckstell side had snapped off and we're replacing that entire side of the differential housing. There's a felt seal on the Ford side of the differential but there appears to be no seal on the Ruckstell side. I'm referring to the felt seals on the inner side of the axle tubes. Can anyone confirm if the Ruckstell side should have some sort of seal to keep oil from getting into the axle tube?
Thank you.

I am absolutely NOT SURE about this, but it seems I've read that the inner oil seal on a TT Ruckstell (Ruckstell side) is absent. Hopefully, someone who knows for sure will weigh in.

No seal same as car Ruckstell. The sliding clutch gear and notch plate should block and keep most of the lube in the rear end anyway.
For the outer seals this might help;
