I will have to look at the Frontenac catalog but it could have been used in conjunction with a flywheel housing and Model A transmission. Looks like was made to use 4 dip pan inspection plate.

Could it be that this is an oil pan comming from a Marine Model T engine?

I will try to find photo in my files and come back.

I see a few differences between the pan in question and the one in the link Shane posted but all in all, they look to have come from the same place.
