That thing is really wild! I often wonder how many tandem eights were built over the years? I have seen original era photos of at least five such cars, and heard of about four existing today. I don't know the history (when built?) of any of the existing cars.

Great picture !
It looks like a 'simple' build, seems each engine has its transmission in place, even looks like a pedal sticking up from the front tranny, and each engine has its own radiator, looks like they built an adapter to bolt the rear of the front transmission straight to the front of the second engines crankshaft. Its hard to see if the back engine has a crossmember for the front engine mount.

That is Fantastic!
It seems we had a friend from "Down Under" building a similar two engine overhead. The engines had sequential numbers.
What became of that one?
