It is with a very heavy heart I have to say that we lost a GREAT member on December 8th 2019.
Jim Mastroberti of Carlstadt NJ will be sorely missed by the North Jersey Tinker T's as well as anyone who as ever spent any time with him .
Jim was by the far the most active member of any club he was in and I think he was in 5 clubs .
He would fearlessly lead our Model T club on 650 mile round trip weekends in his trusty 1912 Touring car . Up through the crazy Catskill mountains of New York State and so on and so on .
Along with his awesome wife Elaine who was always by his side he would always come up with tours for his clubs . He really enjoyed it if he was on a tour in our area and you could show him a road he had not been on .
An interesting thing is that he was a chemist for YooHoo and made most all of the YooHoo I had in my lifetime !
Jim would always be one to get right in there and help anyone if he could .
He was one of the best friends I will ever have and I feel as though I was lucky enough to spend the time with him that I did .

Saddened to hear of this. Although I do not think I ever met him, through this hobby, I have known many like him. I understand the loss, and send my deepest condolences to all his family and friends!

It is a sad reality of our aging hobby. SO many of our aging best are reaching this point.

Vinny.... I remember a 1912 red touring car, at the Morristown event last year... The car was traveling along that lower road coming up to the livestock barns and I did stop and talked with him. ..... I honestly don't remember if that was Jim or not, but he was an older gentleman , knowledgeable and helpful T owner
