Interesting; the HCCA national convention is in Stateline, NV the same weekend. I haven't been keeping track of this (need to read my Gazette, I guess!). but it seems like a major change. Bakersfield is the largest early car swap meet out west here, I would hate to see it end, even though I can seldom attend.

Actually they are having the tour the week after instead of the week before. I think the news about Chicasa probably shutting down has people worried about all the swap.meets.

Yes, I found the HCCA website and discovered that "minor" date detail! The Convention starts the day after the swap meet, so there isn't an overlap, except for those that have to trailer their cars from Bakersfield to Stateline, they will have a fairly long day on the road!
