Spiral Tube Radiator.
While looking for some KD info I stumbled across this. I had not seen it before.
When did I do that?

Re: Spiral Tube Radiator.
Interesting item. I wonder why they marketed it as for a TT when, as we all know, if it fit a TT it would fit a regular T. Also interesting is that they marketed a "Type B" for 1917-21 trucks (obviously low radiator models) and a "Type A" for 1913-16 models. Somebody was confused.

I would hazard a guess that they singled out trucks in that ad because it was published in "The Commercial Motor" magazine

I bet the aluminum tanks all corroded out in a couple years and there are none left!

In England ? You gotta be kidding me. They should have sold the concept to Rolls Royce !

1913-1916 are the flat sided radiators, 1917+ are the rounded-side radiators.
They remind me of something from the front of a tractor. It IS a nifty idea, tho... if the tubes had rubber o ring seals,to and the tank was also sealed to the top of the able to be removed or installed not with a soldering iron but by removing bolts to separate it from the bottom half... You take the tank off, pull the bad tubes out, put the new ones in, ake sure the rubber gasket for the tank is still good, and reattach the top tank.
