Sidelight Brackets

With most of the painting behind me, I’m starting to tackle the little details. When I bought the truck, it came with a miscellaneous box of parts including these brackets and several incomplete tail and sidelight even though it is a starter equipped model. The vehicle showed evidence that they had been mounted on it at one point. I went to mount today but now see the angle is wrong. Is there different version of these of these. The c-cab is a 24 but looking through the book I don’t see a separate part for these and assumed they would be the same as cars. I can heat and bend but hate to screw it up.

I think I answered my own question. I went ahead and put the other one on and it’s good. I must either have a bracket that’s bent (didn’t notice any difference before install) or the body/windshield post alignment on the passenger side is out of wack (more likely). Something to work on later...

Bruce, you may be the 49,000,000 th victim of a particular syndrome called paint-before-fit. The remedy is simple. Fit-before-paint is the antidote. :D
