Facebook ? LOL ... that sequence happens here on the Forum for certain topics! Thanks Steve. Reminds me of a series of line drawings my father had of the evolution of marketing a rope swing. He was in advertising.

Be sure to clean out the area of the head around the sparkplug so dirt doesn't go down into the cylinder when you remove the sparkplug. Also remove the nut holding on the wire and place it away from the head so it doesn't fall in. Don't break off the spark plug in the head when you try to remove it. etc. etc. etc.

A literary "allusion" no doubt.

Steve: Are the 27 defenders the same 27 who correct grammar and spelling, etc? If so, I'd say you are doing well with this interested group of people who want the information and are also willing to spend their valuable time to make you a better writer. Keep the sparkplug posts coming! jb

On one forum I look at, people do that all the time. Pull up a string that is like 2 years old then ask a question that has nothing to do with the title! Of course the helper type say start their own string, others don't even bother to look at the date and add more info because they can or think it will help, of course none of the NEW info answers the new question that has nothing to do with the original question in the first place.

I mounted the coils direct to the cylinder head and eliminated the spark plugs and wires altogether.

I dont do facebook and I refuse to get into this discussion . Everone knows the easiest way is to remove the head to really inspect or change the spark plugs!

Well I had some time so I visited Facebook. I didn't find my way into it very far and decided I didn't need the aggravation.
We often like to find the fascicles in the way others look at and respond to things. I try not to impose my wisdom as things that work for me often seem odd to others. I'm fairly sure my spark plugs will still work even if I don't investigate this further.
As Kalamity Dick said "Better Late than Sorry".

Steve just needs to be playing with his TT.I have not saw any post related to it in a long time.
speaking of plugs,these were pulled from the head of the 26 I am working on now back in 07 or so when I first got it.

It was told to me that the car was parked still in running condition in 1945 when the owner was drafted.He came home to find the body,and radiator missing and it sat right where it was parked until sometime in 06 when it was sold to a club member for 20 dollars.He only wanted the steering wheel,which he later found he could not get off of the column,so he gave me the whole shibang when he sold the building it was stored behind. You could say he got his moneys worth out of the tires to.

I Joined FaceBook years ago to look at a picture of a model T that was for sale.
I haven't logged in since and have been trying for years to figure out how to de register.

My Linda has signed up for facebook a couple of times because of something family does, gets mad at facebook and the way they do things, and tries to "un-join". They do make it tough. She signed me up for it about ten years ago. In those days, our internet could handle them (not anymore!) I never bothered to "un-join". I guess it must still be there? I don't much care. They keep sending me reminders of some friend's birthdays and such. But I haven't been able to use it on our "not quite a DSL" internet connection for quite a few years now.
