There was some questions last year about what spare parts should be carried in your T.

I recently bought a Model T owned by the same man since 1947, so he was experienced.

This inventory sheet was found in the car, along with all these spare parts that he considered essential.

Kinda cool, you wonder what issues he experienced over the years, to form such a list.

I thought was Interesting, I did not see any tools mentioned.

An extra sandwich and drinks in case the tow truck doesn't come till much later. Don't ask me how that came to mind.

The wheel chock is something that is easily overlooked but is very reassuring when changing a rear wheel on a steep hill in peak hour traffic on a rainy day.

Much of the above is not necessary unless the trip is a very long one. If the bands are kept in proper adjustment, and properly used they should work well without slipping.
These are what I carry along. An electric test light. Some safety wire, tire patches and pump, If the car has fuses, some spare fuses. Since I don't usually drive the T at night, I don't carry spare bulbs. Since I have a working magneto, if the generator goes out, I just ground the output and drive on magneto and use the crank for starting until I get home. I don't drive at night, so no problem. I also carry a few feet of electric wire.

I carry a couple spare good coils, and a couple good spark plugs. A spare timer A box with screw drivers, pliars, and an assortment of wrenches, and exhaust nut wrench a wheel puller. Some hand cleaner and rags. A wheel bearing wrench.
If the car has any non stock parts such as a distributor, or other odd ignition system, you should carry parts to fit because the local auto parts store might not have what you want and others on tour also won't likely have parts to fit your system. This would include points, condensor, rotor, and cap.

If you are going cross country, you might pull a small trailer which looks like a covered wagon with a spare engine and transmission in it.

You also might carry some gasket sealer in case you need to pull an inspection cover. Of course carry your gas stick and some extra oil and water and either some gas or an empty gas can just in case. I also carry some electrical tape in case I need to tape up a wire.

One thing I forgot to add is a good fan belt of the proper length. This is not necessary if you are moving along, but if stopped with the engine running the belt will keep the radiator and engine from boiling. Especially this would be needed if you are running with a water pump (which I don't use).

Not exactly a part...but "handy" and doesn't take up any space.

You can thank me after you fix whatever went amiss and you didn't have to wash all that crud off afterwards !!

I like to carry a small drop cloth in case I need to lie under the car.
