NRS Comutator clearance of clutch fingers

is an almost touching clearance of the comutator terminal ( #4 cylinder) to the high speed clutch finger when engaged normal on the NRS. Mine seems like it could hit if there is any movement in the engine/transmission assembly. This is closest at top dead center. Shimming between engine and transmission would give more clearance.
thanks Jim

Is the terminal bolt maybe a bit too long? Protruding from the thumb nut more than necessary?

Thanks Jerry, the bolts are all the same length and don't protrude from the thumb screws. Of course, I have no idea if the bolts or thumb screws are original. I will double check the timing and also check the thumb screws against those on my 15. there has to be some way I can get a little more clearance.
