FS Unrestored Time-capsule

Post by Tadpole » Fri Apr 01, 2022 9:27 am

Need gone, 1912 Model T Deluxe Sport Phaeton Convertible. RARE body style, matching numbers, low miles, original paint/upholstery. BARNFIND.
In unrestored condition, needs some TLC, last driven 4 months ago in a Christmas Parade. Make an offer, no low-ballers, I know what I've got.

I don't need the car, nice as it is, since I already own the original 1908 Model T # 00000000001 with Henry Ford's actual signature scratched into the paint on the dash. Are you taking offers on that spacious, airy barn?

To think that one day that was a brand-new, shiny black car sitting in a Ford dealership's showroom, waiting for someone willing to pay $10 a month to buy it. And look at it now! Actually, I've dragged home cars worse than that! Most of us probably have at one time or another.

A little bit of sand paper, some elbow grease and stacks of $100 bills and you should be able to get it shined up and running again…

I finally found those one of a kind headlights! Must be the new L.E.D.s they were experimenting with!

Thank you for keeping it in the christmas spirit for all of us! That pretty red paint gives it some class.

Being a desert "vehicle" it may have light surface rust but otherwise should have good sheetmetal in it. I wonder what might be buried in the sand under it?

You must first convert said vehicle to battery/electric. The ICE can then be used as a generator to charge the battery. Any form of fuel for the generator is acceptable. Coal, diesel, kerosene...
