1915 Touring
I am selling our 1915 Touring car due to inability to figure out how to drive it without killing myself and everyone who's in it with me. Actually, two knee replacements and big feet are the problem. The car is in our garage in Upland Ca. It's an amazing car. Rajo head. model A crank, custom header, completely rebuilt 1926 engine and trans by Eric Barrett in Auburn, CA. Kevlar bands. All drums maganafluxed. New pistons, rings, and cam shaft. It has the saginau aux trans that gives it an overdrive, underdrive, and free wheeling. The car has been to the top of Pikes Peak and driven all over the country, including Mexico. It has a Texas water pump, high torque starter, one wire alternator, and an 094 distributor. Rocky Mountain brakes and a Southern front axel (a little wider). It sports Buffalo wire wheels, 5 of them, in excellent condition. Very nice interior, top, and side curtains. The Rajo head was completely rebuilt including a new complete rocker arm assembly. It has a fat man steering wheel, not because I'm fat, OK, because I'm fat. So there! This car is very fast and stops very well. The body and paint are in good condition, and no rust anywhere. It has Historic Plates that go with it. You could not build one for this price. Give me a call, I'm retired and available any time. I have many more pictures that it won't let me upload. Ask for any pics and I'll take them and send them to you.

Re: 1915 Touring
I know, because it would go a lot slower and be very unreliable.

Re: 1915 Touring
I think what he is saying is; his modification makes this 1915 Touring “faster and more reliable” than it would be otherwise.
This claim will of course be debated by those who believe that the most reliable Model Ts are those that remain exactly the way they were when they left the assembly plant.

New lover price $15,000.

Re: 1915 Touring
I've been trying to sell this car for a friend. He decided he does not want to sell his T for a lower price. He wants to maintain the price at $17,000.
Sorry for the confusion

Re: 1915 Touring
Jerry is correct. This car belonged to Bob Keller for over 30 years. Bob was a good friend, he passed away last year. I have another friend who was interested in buying a T that is Greg Hahs. He purchased Bobs T, which needed work. Greg had the engine rebuilt, by a well known model T engine rebuilder. All new Babbit, has balanced A crank. Now Greg has decided he needs the space for other projects. Greg enjoys fabricating and he’s working on 3 other projects. So if someone is looking for a go fast T with a Rajo and 5 Buffalo wire wheels, this would be a good choice. Car is ready to tour.

Re: 1915 Touring
I'll help get this to the top for the seller by saying I can't believe it hasn't sold at this price now after 2 months! The wheels alone are worth $5K! Given all its "got on it" the asking price is a deal! I sold a totally stock yet pristine '15 around 8 years ago for $26K. $17K for this caliber of car is just plain.....you get my point.
