Forgot to put that Huckster is running with a Texas T distributor, has turbo 400 clutches, the ruckstell was recently rebuilt with new axles, seals and bearings!

Re: 23 Huckster
Tom, very nice truck... I have a 24 C cab w/ wood bed kit, trying to figure out a rear fender that will work. Looking at your vehicle, I think that is the style I need, can you give me some details of what you used. Thanks John Oscoda Michigan

Re: 23 Huckster
Those came from Rootlieb and they were described as hack or huckster fenders. Go to their website to find them. If you need additional photos, let me know.

Re: 23 Huckster
I have been on tours that huckster was on and Never have to stop & Wait on him. It is ready to hit the road for some enjoyable T driving. I am sure you cannot set one up like that for those $$$. Read his list again, only thing missing for a day of driving is a full tank of gas and I am sure he would take care of that.
The reason I don’t buy it is my garages are already full.

Re: 23 Huckster
How about $9,500.00?
That would about pay for the long block, rebuilt ruckstell and disc brakes.
Will gladly supply additional information. All you have to do is ask!
Thanks

Mr Right is out there
Tom. Beautiful truck with all the extras with more work done and features than anyone could ask for. completed and ready to tour. If You can hold on to it till spring it will sell.probably at Your original asking price or above. Put a ad in Vintage Ford & Hemmings.& classic auto trader. Your Truck is special. many folks don't have a Garage it will fit in. You need to expand Your marketing to reach that special person. Mr Right. who is a match for Your truck. Don't give up! a buyer is out there. right now with all the politics going on. winter weather starting and the pandemic peaking again may not be the best time to try and sell. If all else fails buy a good SUV car cover and wrap it up till springs better weather and hopefully a more sane Political climate both arrive. Good Luck
My 2 Cents worth maybe less.

Re: 23 Huckster
Thanks. My issue is storage as well. I figured the model t community would be the place to sell it. I did not want to get some of the stupid calls you get sometimes from Hemings. Point well taken and parts are a whole lot easier to store than cars. If I don’t get any takers, I’ll weigh my options then.

Re: 23 Huckster
Well, it took four months, but the Huckster rolled up today in England. It is exactly as described and is well maintained. I'm sure it will be a great driver's vehicle, once I get it registered. Some modifications on it, which I knew about from Tom's description and I'll be interested to see how it compares with my standard Model T Tourer out on the highway. I'm planning on using this one quite a lot for local journeys and it will have to carry stuff about. It looks ideally suited to the job. I've bought four cars via MTFCA classifieds over the last 25 years and I have never been cheated, always found the sellers to be enthusiasts and so very helpful. So pleased with it. Thank you Tom, thank you MTFCA.

Glad it finally made it and was received in good condition. I was worried. Enjoy it as the our family did . We will be listing our 27 roadster pickup soon. Lots of miles of smiles with that one as well. Once it’s gone, we will be down to 2 T’s and 1 A, a much more manageable group.
Please send me photos when it gets registered.

Hi! Newbie here with questions!
Dear Tom Moorehead
Hello. I’m John Bargerhuff, a fairly new resident of Madison IN and a new member of the MTFCA. I actually joined just in time for Covid to hit, so I haven’t been active yet but I have big plans to be. First I’m trying to make use of my time and build a new garage here at our house. More on that in a moment.
Congratulations on selling the Huckster. To an Englishman no less. Says something about their popularity I guess. That’s the first Huckster I’ve seen. Were they built with a particular purpose in mind?
I see that you and/or your wife run the Louisville Model T club? We’re sort of in-between Louisville, Indy and Cincy so I’m guessing your chapter will be closest for us once things get going again. Any plans or ideas on when activities will start back up?
And I believe you said that you had another T to sell? A pickup/roadster? I try to take a look at the MTFCA ads every few days so maybe I’ll see your next one soon? Photos of similar T’s have met with my wife’s approval so I’ll probably want to take a look at yours once you have it on the market. (Our neighbor’s T fire truck did not. I can’t begin to explain that of course.)
So back to my garage building. I’m still working on the foundation so I have a little time to change the doors if I need to. Would your Huckster fit under a standard 8’ garage door? I spent a little time measuring the trucks at the T museum in Richmond last fall. One of the TT’s was just under 8’ tall and the other (a fruit truck) was just over. So I’m on the fence. Also considering a separate “golf cart” door. Most are 7’ high. Would your Pickup/Roadster fit beneath a 7’ door?
Thanks in advance. I appreciate your time.
