For some reason I cannot post on the vehicle section so, I'll post this ad here. Offered for sale is a 1915 Model T Touring car. Engine and transmission have been rebuilt (aluminum pistons, .270 cam, lifter, valves, etc.). Engine casting date is 11 16 14. Engine starts on battery and runs great on magneto. Includes new coils, rebuilt carburetor, and battery. Car runs well and is ready to drive (see video). Asking price is $16,500. Car is located in Lake Elsinore, CA. Shown by appointment only on Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday. Give me a call to discuss further. I work evenings. Leave a message and I will return your call. Mark Chaffin (951) 805-0928

Asking price reduced to $15,500. This is a great price for a brass car!

Brent,

Thank you for the positive comment. Had a few inquiries regarding the tires, transmission, and body wood.

The transmission / hogshead has not been converted to a starter setup. It has the original reinforced aluminum hogshead. The battery is a small hotshot battery added for ease of starting and is located under the front floor boards. It also has a trickle charger installed to keep it charged to full capacity.

The tires are Firestone brand with about 90% tread and in good condition.

Body wood is outstanding!

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

I received several offers on this nice car. The best was $12,500. If you like this car, make me an offer over $12,500 and we'll see what happens. Mark Chaffin (951) 805-0928

Lots of interest; however, no one willing to pull the trigger at $14,500.

Wife would like to have her garage space back.

Price is now $13,500.

Final price reduction $13,000. Not likely you could build the car for anywhere near that price. Mark Chaffin (951) 805-0928

Mark

that was a deal. Am surprised at the low price, though the color probably hurt some... a very good buy for Eric

Scott,

Yes. I was happy to sell both cars to Eric who will be a good caretaker for quite a few years to come at only 28 years of age! It renewed my faith that the hobby is alive and well with a small aspect of the younger generation. :)
