SOLD 1910 Model T Touring SOLD!!
After a five year restoration and two years of enjoyment it’s time to part with my 1910 T touring, number 15841, built 2/4/1910. Open valve rebuilt engine and transmission with starter ring gear, new valves, aluminum pistons, 250 Stipe cam and crank, Kevlar bands, new brake drum, correct one piece pan, has 1914 style timing cover and a TW timer as well as a rebuilt Holley Model G patent pending carburetor. Newer radiator, rebuilt original JW coil box and brass topped coils, runs on mag, Metzger Automatic windshield, restored E&J lamps and non-functioning carbide generator. Restored 1911 style speedometer but no cable or road/wheel gear. Rebuilt front and rear six rivet axle, two piece driveshaft, Stutzman wheels, Classtique top, Ernie Romero leather interior and a Ray Wells rebuilt body platform. I’m sure there’s lots more I’m forgetting but if you’re a serious buyer I can answer any more questions. $38,000.

Thanks for all the compliments; very appreciated! And yes, the car has been at the last two OCF’s and my wife keeps me on my best behavior!

I can't believe you're letting this go, everything OK Bill?
Give an old car guy a barn and he won't throw anything away.

Re: FS 1910 Model T Touring
Believe me Bob, I’m really not happy with the decision, but truth be told the two discs in my lower back will not permit me to crank a Model T anymore. I know I could always put a starter in, and de-mountable wheels but that just isn’t something I want to do to an early brass car. So I decided to sell the 10 and I bought a beautiful 1922 Touring with starter, Demountable’s, KC Warford transmission and Rocky Mountain brakes. The fellow I bought it from owned it for 70 years!! Bought it in 1952 when he was 14. Now I can still enjoy the hobby without pain.
