Offered here is a 1958 factory build of a 1903 Oldsmobile CDO This Bliss Surrey has been completely stripped to bare metal and a base/clear coat Burgendy finish was applied, color sanded and buffed to a perfectly smooth finish (no imperfections no orange peel). The Engine (Original Cushman Husky 9hp) was removed and completely rebuilt by a local small engine repair shop. The transmission shifts smoothly (two gears and reverse). There is a manual clutch as well as a Centrifugal clutch. It brakes smoothly but will not lockup (normal). There are sealed beam brass headlights and tail lights that function. there are rear turn signals connected to stand alone 12 volt battery. The engine operates off 6 volt power and is electric start. A kill switch disconnects the 6 volt system. There is extensive brass throughout the car. It is tiller steering with new tires and tubes. extensive brass throughout the car as well as brass railings on the rear storage compartment. There are two horns, a bulb type as well as electric.
The CM Bliss manufactured cars are the premier models that were all steel and highly sought after.
They were sold by Dealers throughout the US and only about 1000 were produced.
I have went through the State of Vermont and then the State of Oregon to get the car registered (it is currently registered and licensed to drive (street legal) in Oregon and is sold with a clean Oregon title in my name. It is Registered as a 1903 Blis (should have been Bliss, but for some reason they left off the last s).
Great car! and if you have grand kids you will be SUPER PAPA!

ASKING $14,500.00
