FS 3 kelsey wheels 1 Hayes wheel

Post by vech » Tue Mar 10, 2020 6:19 pm

I removed these from our '22 coupe and spent a lot of time refinishing the wood of all four wheels with Restoration Supply's Clear penetrating epoxy sealer. The finish on the wood is beautiful and very hard! The wood was in very good condition and tight on all 4 wheels. After I wasted all that time and work refinishing them, I realized I had two rear, and one front Kelsey wheels, and 1 Hayes front wheel! I went out and bought 5 Buffalo wheels and hubs for the car, so I would have an interchangeable spare with all four wheels. The rear wheels have fair, but not perfect, emergency brake drums on them. They have been gathering dust for the last year, taking up space. I'll take $125 each for the wheels, shipping is on you.

Jack,

I'm pretty new at this, I have owned model T's for only 3 years or so. have 9 rims total 5 are brand new matched rims, but they would not fit any of these wood spoked wheels correctly. The other 4 rims, that were mounted on the 4 wheels in the photos are not all the same and I and not dead sure what is what. Email me, and I can send you photos of what I have.

I bought the Hayes and one Kelsey wheel from Craig. The spokes are epoxy sealed, tight and solid. The rims aren't pitted at all and look as good as any I've seen. If you're looking for some Kelsey's Craig has some nice ones.
