FS- 4th main for core

Post by Scott_Conger » Sat Mar 21, 2020 2:43 pm

$17 plus postage.

It is what it is. It of course will need cleaning and rebabbiting.

I will be going to town next week to find out shipping cost and will have that cost then.

Scott,

Gene French sells re-Babbitt ones for $45 plus shipping, he will give you $5 core, this issue is postage, I have about six, I plan on rounding them up and shipping to Gene, just to get him more cores.

I usually save all the used ones I get through the year, then give them to Gene at Chickasha. I still have them since we didn’t get to go, so I’ll probably mail them to him. I don’t take anything for them. I just give them to him for the service he provides.

Thank you very much folks. Can't say I'm particularly surprised...it is pretty useless as-is. I guess this is the first useable Model T part I've ever thrown out. Probably won't be the last.

I used to collect American Cut Glass and pay really good money before 2008. Those pretty pieces aren't even satisfying targets for target practice. This thing should be about the right size for 20 yards or so, and iron sights.
