FS MODEL T COIL BOX 1915 with Original One Piece Top

Post by TRDxB2 » Tue Mar 24, 2020 12:47 am

Planned to restore this but now have other priorities. The box and top appear to be solid, small dents, no visible pit marks and no rust through. Latches have good snap for locking. The switch is an original one and in very good condition. The contact lever was chipped on the bottom edge and I repaired with JB Weld (it is shaped like an original - note color change). The only thing needed is the wood. $360 shipping included. PayPal preferred.
Original Parts:
Coil Box; One Piece Coil Box Top; Switch (very good condition, minor repair); Un-glazed Tubes (10); Bronze contacts (9); Terminal Bolts: Brass(7) Steel (3); Brass washers (10); Brass Terminal Nuts: Brass (20)
New Parts:
Printed Face Plate; Screws for face plate (3 pieces); Insulating gasket; Water proof cord gasket; Cloth covered wire (3 pieces); Mounting bolt nut set (6 pieces); Insulating washers (20 pieces); Wood mounting screws (7 pieces); Pop rivet set for securing Bronze strip to wood base.

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

FWIW, this is an early '15 box, with now reinforcing bead along the bottom edge of the lid.

Typo: NO reinforcing bead, not "now". Sorry.
