FREE, If You Pay The Postage, 1/4x20 Press Fit Nuts
Recently, I ordered a package of 25 5/16x24 weld nuts from McMaster-Carr. They mistakenly shipped a package of 25 1/4x20 press fit nuts. They sent the right replacement item at no charge and told me not to return the parts shipped due to their error, but I am left with these press fit nuts which I can't use. These nuts are round (not hex) and are slightly knurled on one side so that pressed into the properly drilled hole in sheet metal, they will stay in place until tacked into place. They are primarily used in the sheet metal fabrication industry. If any one has a use for, and wants them, they're free if you pay the postage (which shouldn't be much more than First Class rate). The 25 are still in the factory sealed bag, so I'd rather not open the bag to divide them before they go in the mail. Email at address provided.
