Made in '24 as an aftermarket of course. Not my cup of tea. Maybe look better on a street rod or a car in the '30s

They are the bees knees on a speedster. Get with it Timmy, you need a speedster in the fleet!

Re: Wanted: E&J 20 headlights
Actually they did come factory equipment on a few cars such as the Jordan Playboy a Kissel speedster and a Graham Paige. There is much more to them than just the photo, the top half comes off to expose the reflector that is a full capsule the same shape as the outside. The bulb has left / right adjustment along with in and out focus.
Bob's reproductions were made off one of my pairs along with the original mounts. He made the brass top emblems and the brass back disc that opens them with all the lettering. The reproductions have 6 volt sealed beams but unless you really know these lights they look correct.
People either like them or hate them but at the current market of $1,000 each they are worth looking for. They don't look good on everything though.
I saw a guy loose one on a T speedster once...the guy behind him ran over it.

Re: Wanted: E&J 20 headlights
We are not helping Adam find a set but are keeping his thread live.
In addition to Tim's comments, the bulb actually shines to the back of the light and is reflected frontward then focused through a true circular lens. Lots of focus adjustments to make.
I currently running Model 20's on two of my T racers and have a set that I have in polished aluminum for the polished aluminum bodied Oilzum Special racer I am working on. I must fall into the love end of that love hate relationship with them.
I acquired the first set 20 ears ago as I was leaving a swap meet. Someone had just brought them in late in the day and wouldn't move off the $75 price tag (which I was happy to pay). They were heavily oxidized but starting with 100 grit paper I now have them polished to a mirror finish.

Now they’re $3000. Looks like we all should have bought them when they were at swap meets for $75.

Re: Wanted: E&J 20 headlights
Alex, did you buy the eBay pair for $3350?
I knew there was serious interest in them but I thought the bidding would stop shy of $2500.
More value to my estate auction when the time comes......
