Re: In Need of one BRASS BALE HANDLE
That looks like a beautiful centerdoor. I had an 18 that I did the same thing to as far as lower hood and hood former, brass radiator, brass cap on cowl lights and tail light, sanded all the wood around the windshield along with the mouldings around the windows on the inside, wheel spokes and even the steering wheel to bare wood and just clear coated everything. When I had to sell it no one wanted it so I had to remove everything and put it back to all black. That was my all favorite model T and I wish I still had it. I still have one of the bale door handles in case you can’t find a nother. Frank

Frank, I don't know what you mean that you did the "samething too". This is a true 1915-16 transitional centerdoor. I have the paperwork to prove it. Thanks.

Re: In Need of one BRASS BALE HANDLE
Don, don’t get upset, under your personal information of cars owned it states you have a 22 centerdoor. Sorry, my mistake.Congratulations on the restore, it is a beautiful car. I wish I had not sold my 18, I loved that car. I have a brass bail handle, I wrote that also in my last thread. I bought it on eBay some ten years ago. It may not be just right but they are on opposite sides and can’t tell, if you cannot find a nother one. Call Chaffins, they may have one that is right. Used to be in their catalog. Frank

Dale, thanks for checking. Frank I'm not upset, I should have phrased it better than I did. I do have a '22 Centerdoor also but this one has been a huge challenge to find information on. Sorry it came across that way. Thanks.
