WANTED: Set of Original Rear Spring Clamps, T-3848-B

Post by Pep C Strebeck » Wed Jun 03, 2020 12:37 pm

Just as the title says, I am looking for a good set of Original Rear Spring Clamps (with square head bolt and nut, if possible, but not necessary), T-3848-B. Please let me know what you might have available, you can contact me with a Private Message here on the Forum or through e-mail. Private Messages work better, for some reason e-mails from Forum members always end up in my spam folder. Thank you for your time and help and for looking.

I don't have any extras, but here is a link to a collection of them on Ebay, hopefully a good pair of rear ones are in there somewhere.
I have no connection to the seller or the ad:

The correct bolt and nut are harder to find than the clip. The attached pictures are my front spring clips, I still haven't found the correct bolts and nuts for my rear spring clips yet. The bolt indeed has a square head with rounded corners and the nut is a thin hex nut. A reproduction opportunity for R.V. Anderson? :)

Here's an older thread showing the correct bolt and nut:

Actually, Mark S., I do carry these. Front and rear. Square head bolt, thin hex nut, and raven finished to boot.
