FS OT PAMCO? 2cyl opposed 4 stroke motor
This is out of a local estate,so history and former application unknown. Tag says "Sold and Serviced By PAMCO Power and Mfg CO". I don't see any other manufacturers tag so maybe they did make it. The bore is 3 5/8",stroke 3 1/4'. It turns over. There have been comments here about putting a 2-stroke engine in a repo horseless carriage, this may be a significant improvement over that. With those big valves and 2" exhaust, this one should have some power. The tag says this one was sold in 1968 so it should be a good, dependable powerplant. The exhaust looks up but is threaded so a 2" street 90 could be screwed in and pointed back or side. There is no carb and it was downdraft so a manifold could be adapted to an updraft wherever it will fit. It is governed and has WICO magneto ignition so throttle and spark will need to be made manual. I'll be taking it to Chickasha but if anyone wants to nail it down in advance for $350,send me a PM. Thanks.
