FS Livingston "V" Radiator

Post by Henry K. Lee » Tue Aug 11, 2020 5:59 pm

This girl is around 30 or more years old, my Dad bought used around 1997, but a real beauty. The only issues are elongated holes which are typical when installing with a Torpedo hood and most require lifting by about a 1/2" to include the hood former as they are slightly taller than stock T radiators. There are small cracks on the outside cover (passenger side only outside skin), but have been there for years. I had two Super "V's" one sold and the other I swapped out on Dad's 1914. This radiator is in super condition other than what I have stated above. $3,000.00 Firm. Email Only to the address provided. Box 27" x 27" x 29" tall. Approx. 70 pounds. Freight/insurance is on you. Will meet them for shipping.

On the subject of V Radiators, it brought to mind those that were being used in the deserts on some of the larger trucks that we used in the Oil Field back in my working days. These were installed on the big trucks that were in use, KW's, Macks, et al. They were of a similar configuration, if I remember right, not all had the radiator in back, used just the two in front. It worked very well.

Hi Hank,
Did these radiators use three cores or just the two in the V portion.
Thanks,
John

V’s use two, Super V’s use three. This one also has flat cores.
