August 1915 block
No visible cracks but 2 pistons are frozen and there is deep rust in those 2 cylinders. 2 spark plugs had been left out. I live in central Wyoming so I am pretty far off the beaten path. $150

We used to soak them in penetrating oil, and then hammer them from both sides with a wooden block.

Re: August 1915 block
I haven’t touched this block in 20 years. It was stuck in a corner. We used the head and an earlier block on our ‘15. I was considering the “wax” trick on it but i think it is just time to start emptying the corners and the attic so the kids don’t have to do it.
