For Sale: 26-27 Scandinavia transmission band linings - SOLD !!!
I have a new set of Scandinavia transmission band linings for 26-27 cars with rivets in the original box. Since I sold my 26 Coupe, I no longer have the use for these. The bands measure about 23 and 1/8 inches on one and a tad more on the other two(about 23 and 1/4inches) and are somewhat rigid from being packed in the box. If your installation method is soaking them in oil overnight to soften them a bit before riveting to your metal bands, I would think they will "roll out" just fine. I am asking $68, which includes shipping to any of the lower 48 contiguous US states only. I prefer Paypal using the friends and family option and not using a credit card(since I won’t get the full $68) or a check will work too. I will provide my email address if the Paypal route is used or my mailing address if using a check. Much Thanks in advance for looking!!! Walt Wise

Perhaps you might lay out one lining for one to see the particular weave and measure the length of each lining. Some time after CANTEX took over the "Scandinavia" trade name, they also changed the weave pattern AND shortened them up to 22 & 1/2" to 23" - proper length of each Scandinavia lining should be 23 & 1/2".

Re: For Sale: 26-27 Scandinavia transmission band linings
I added this to the top original post, but maybe some of you didn't see it:
"The bands measure about 23 and 1/8 inches on one and a tad more on the other two(about 23 and 1/4inches) and are somewhat rigid from being packed in the box. If your installation method is soaking them in oil overnight to soften them a bit before riveting to your metal bands, I would think they will "roll out" just fine."
If you don't want to soak them in oil first(I know that makes them slippery to work with), if laid in direct sun or warmed up a bit from being packaged(rolled up tight in a small box), I feel these bands will "roll out" to a perfect fit with absolutely no problem - that is just my opinion though, which everyone has the right to have...hope that helps!
Much Thanks for looking!!!

Okay y'all, I am beginning to feel like an idiot. I paid $75 for these when I was told by two vendors they were going to be out of stock soon with no more coming in. Langs, Smith and Jones, and Macs don't have any now. So...back to the tippy top!
