These catalogs show the Walden and Stevens line of tools in aprox. 1928. I consider the Stevens tools to be as good or better than the KR Wilson tools everyone wants. The Walden tools are mostly hand tools, and not really any better than our modern tools, but they are highly collectable. These catalogs show all the numbers of the tools and what they are to be used on. I have used my original catalogs for years to identify tools at swap meets.. I have found many of the less common Stevens tools, or some of the missing "little things" for my partial tool sets by having the catalogs.
There are a few tools listed for "other makes" of cars but the bulk of the catalog shows tools for Model T.
Original catalogs are almost impossible to find. When you do find one they are usually never for sale, or in such fragile condition, that using them is hard to do. My originals were getting to fragile to use. So I decided to copy my originals to save them and have a good, strong copy to use. In the process I decided to make some small batches of catalogs for other folks to have. And maybe they can help save a bunch of the lesser know tools and the small parts of sets from being scrapped.
The catalogs are aprox. 3-3/4 X 8-1/4 inches and have 96 pages, not counting the covers. I had the tears, rips, and worst damage "photo shopped" to make a nice looking catalog. But I did not remove all the stains, and minor defects, so the catalogs still have a "vintage feel" and keep the costs within reason. Overall they are a nice useable catalog.
