WTB: Two Piece Dash Clips ‘09-11 - Purchased

Post by ahovey » Sat Jan 09, 2021 6:39 am

Hi all,

I’m looking to purchase an original set of two piece dashboard clips for an ‘11. I am looking for a set that has the bend to accommodate the trim over hang. These are the pieces that connect the firewall to the windshield riser board.

Please reach out me on my cell at 2013067112 or my email ahovey@gmail.com.

Thanks!

Austin

He did, but they do not come with the bend to accommodate the trim. Hoping to find original set so I don’t have to make the bend myself.

Aren’t these a common repro piece?

The vendors im going thru have them on backorder & have no idea if or when they will get them in.. Snyders have them as do Macs & Ecklers.. but they want $100 just to ship these small brackets .. its criminal & an act of shipment terrorism! Anyhow's...
The white rubber mats & 1912 brass rear sill plates im seeking are also on backorder..
Anyone out there got a solution ?

They do sell reproductions but there are a few discrepancies I am aware of and I would like to see if I can find originals. A few small differences in dimension but one easy visual difference is the ends of the repro clips are not a radius, rather they are just rounded off. RV is making flat reproductions that look great, but I would prefer if I didn't have to make the bend.

Daniel I shot you an email earlier today.

Thanks everyone.

Similar to this type in pic... Ive now got mine.
Vintique in China , wont do small orders to reproduce these repro Brass parts again & the white floor mats are under talks at this time to remake..Obviously not as many T builders out there buying enough of the stuff from vendors anymore is the problem..probably cos they now 6 foot under or imminent .. parts for all model T's now harder to find & worth way more than yesterday !!
....reason why to Raise the value of your T !!!

I actually have a set of original brass plated steel windshield clips and am still trying to find an original set of the dash clips. Thanks everyone! Going to try my hand at ebay, keep me posted about any original sets.
